Food for Thought with Carol is a New Hampshire radio show that focuses on food, community and fun. Unfortunately, this energetic local media had an outdated website with limited and clunky features. When Food for Thought with Carol made the jump from a weekly radio show to a daily broadcast, Just Flow was hired to not only redesign and develop their website but also to manage their social media presence on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
For the website, the Just Flow team created a custom design based on existing branding and complementary color scheme, researched and identified supporting imagery, provided search engine friendly copywriting, and developed meaningful and logical features and functionality for the resulting site. On a weekly basis, we continue to manage content on the website, from new recipes to the broadcast library.
With social media, Just Flow cultivated near daily posts for Facebook which were repurposed onto Twitter to stretch Food for Thought’s marketing dollars. Daily behind-the-scenes show pictures were also posted to the website in photo albums to promote guests, sponsors and discussed products and services. With the strong emphasis on food, health and recipes, we also created a Pinterest account to post Carol’s recipes as well as showcase weekly segment guests.
